Summer Fun 2024 has Reached Capacity. All New Submissions will be added to our waiting List. 

MLEDP Summer Fun is an all-day childcare program with a camp-like atmosphere for children who have completed grades K - 5.

Summer Fun will be held at Mt. Lebanon High School and will be open Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM from June 17  - August 2, 2024.

We will be closed Thursday July 4, in observance of Independence Day. 

Enrollment Instructions: (On or after 8:00 AM on February 15)

*Please note that enrollment is a multi-step process*

Step 1. Complete the MLEDP Contract form below. If you have more than 1 child, please put all children's names on the same contract to ensure they are processed at the same time. After submitting this form, you will receive a confirmation (on screen and in your email) with instructions for completing the second part of the registration. 

Step 2. Follow the instructions in the confirmation to complete part 2 of the registration (www.myprocare.com)

Step 3. Submit your child's Health Assessment and Immunization Record to the MLEDP office (if it is not already on file).


The Summer Fun Program has limited availability.  Within 48 hours of BOTH your Contract and ProCare forms being received and processed, you will receive an email notice from enrollment@mledp.org confirming your enrollment status (enrolled or waiting list).  Please do not assume that you are automatically enrolled after submitting the forms.  If you receive a waitlist status, we will update you as spaces become available.

School

Program: MLEDP generally is open during school summer recess, Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Emergency - Child Release Information:

Parent agrees to notify MLEDP immediately in the event of a change in child/family information: emergency contacts, child’s physician, address, telephone numbers, and parent’s work place.

Swimming: MLEDP Summer Fun follows the Mt. Lebanon Swim Center Guidelines for swimming, diving and use of the water slide. MLEDP reserves the right to limit activity at the pool if a child’s behavior endangers them or another child. MLEDP is providing child care in a group setting and reserves the right to set grade requirements for some pool activities, to ensure safe group management at the pool.

Swimming Fees: Each family is responsible for the purchase of a pool pass or swimming tickets for their child. These may be purchased through the Mt. Lebanon Recreation Department.

Program Fees: Parent agrees to pay a contracted fee each month based upon child’s scheduled attendance per week (see Rates). Parent understands a minimum enrollment of 10 sessions is required. No reductions can be made to the schedule after the April 19 Schedule Change Deadline.

Parent understands that payments are non-refundable. Parent is responsible for payment of fees as contracted, regardless of illness of the child, or other unanticipated absence from childcare including vacations and emergency closings. 

Schedule Changes: After April 19, No reductions can be made to your schedule. Scheduling additional childcare or swapping days is subject to availability and a schedule adjustment charge of $25.00. All schedule changes require a one week notice. No credits are given for unused scheduled care.

Payment Options: Payments can be made by check, cash, credit card, money order, or Automatic Payment. Mail or deliver payments to our Main Office: 250 Mt. Lebanon Blvd. Suite 414, Pgh, PA 15234. Credit Card Payments can be made at www.myprocare.com (2.75% service fee applies to online payments). Payments may not be delivered to the center.

In the case where there is shared responsibility for payments, MLEDP will send the monthly statement to the parent who has contracted for care, and that person is responsible for prompt payment of the entire statement.

Late Pick-up Fee: Parent understands that dismissal time shall not be later than 6:00 p.m. Parent or Parent's authorized representative must sign out when departing with your child. Parent agrees to pay $10.00 for every 15- minute increment beyond normal dismissal time that your child remains at the center.

Late Payment Fee: Parent shall pay monthly on the first of every month. Payments must be postmarked on or before the due date. A late fee (see Rates) will be assessed to accounts if the payment arrives after the 5th day of the month.

MLEDP reserves the right to take any, and all action, legal and otherwise, deemed necessary and desirable for the collection of unpaid account balances past due. Parent understands that such action may include reporting the account delinquency to a credit reporting agency and suspension of child care services until the balance due is paid.

Registration is not confirmed until all forms are completed and both the Parent/Legal Guardian and the appropriate MLEDP representative sign this agreement.

Upon receiving your Enrollment Form, if Summer Fun is filled to capacity, you will be notified ASAP. MLEDP reserves the right to change rates at any time.

This Agreement is subject to change from time to time.

I have read the MLEDP Health and Safety Plan (linked below). I agree to abide by all requirements of the plan. I understand that exposure to COVID 19 can have health consequenses up to and including death and that all reasonable efforts have and will be made to mitigate exposure to COVID 19. By signing this contract I ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS and RELEASE, HOLD HARMLESS, AD INDEMNIFY MLEDP and the Mt. Lebanon School District should my child contract COVID 19 while in their care.

Additional Rate and Calendar Information

A typical day is 11 hours of care.

A minimum of 10 days enrollment is required.

Parents agrees to pay a contracted fee each month, based upon the child’s scheduled attendance per week, regardless of illness of the child or other unanticipated absence from child care including vacations.

MLEDP provides transportation for scheduled Summer Fun Activities at no additional cost.

The following items are billed as they occur.

  • Late Pick Up Fee:
    $10.00 for every 15-minute increment beyond closing time (6:00 p.m.).
  • Late Payment Fee:
    Payments are due the first day of every month. A late fee of 5% of the account balance will be assessed to accounts, if payment arrives after the 5th day of the month.
  • Change of Schedule Fee - $25.00
    After April 19th no reductions can be made to your schedule. Scheduling additional child care is subject to availability and a schedule adjustment charge of $25.00.
